Welcome to Exploren with Lauren! I’m Lauren and and I’m excited to share with you my cocktail recipes, foodie experiences, travel adventures, lifestyle tips and more!
I was born in Madison, Wisconsin and grew up just outside of the only Waunakee in the world. I’m a UW-Madison alum and met my husband, Scott, in the Liz Waters dorm my freshman year. In early 2018, I developed an interest in wine and spirits and started a cocktail blog with my best friend (previously, Lauren & The Foreign). That has since evolved into what you see now – my foodie, drink, and travel blog.
My favorite food is chocolate covered strawberries, and my favorite drink at the moment is an Old Fashioned (both Wisconsin-style and every other state’s more spirit-forward version). I love traveling and have been coast to coast sight-seeing, and of course, sampling food and drinks!
